Wirikuta Botanical Desert Garden

Home to over 1500 varieties of desert plants from around the world, the Wirikuta is a botanical desert garden designed to honor both the cactus in its many forms and the cultures and traditions of Mexico's Indigenous peoples. Home to more than 1,000,000 plants, including a labyrinth of 1000 bonsai bougainvilleas, the Wirikuta also includes three pyramids built from massive granite boulders. The sacred geometry of the design will impress as you wander through the acres of meticulously planted botanicals, learning about desert plants from around the world.
